By doing your own research, you will probably find a lot of information. Keep in mind, while watching videos you will see advertisements that can be misleading. These advertisements tell you if you take their course you can add to your services by cleaning dumpster pads, sidewalks, and cleaning out drains, etc. You can do this, but can you do all that and do the job right? Is it worth an extra $50 to clean the dumpster pad or $100 to clean a sidewalk? It is very important that you focus on the job you are there to complete.
When you clean a stainless steel kitchen hood it will look like new. Your client will expect their concrete to look brand new, having very high expectations that could take away from your core job!
If you start flushing out drain lines, in a few weeks when they stop up their drains, you will be on the hook. Meaning, they will call you and say you must have not gotten it all out. While you have been paid to flush the drain 2 times per year, you will now more than likely end up cleaning these drains 3-4 times a year for free.
A lot of advertisements will say you can make $400,000-$500,000 a year by yourself taking on this unusual trade career. Another example is advertisements which say, "You can make $3000 dollars per day, with no overhead working as much or as little as you want."
"I'm unsure of how I would respond to most of these advertisements, because I have seen it all and most of them only have one thing in common. They start out with the words, have you or do you dream of owning your own business and being your own boss?"
At Kitchen One Solutions, we are not selling dreams, we are selling a business model that works! Furthermore, if you want to add to your services after you have good base of about 50 accounts, we can provide guidance on the fire equipment services!

Let us get to the heart of it! It is about providing for your family! However, in the beginning there will be sacrifices that you and your family will have to make. Keep this in mind...This is Night Shift Career! Hours of operation are usually between 11 pm-3 am, while the client's business is not open. This is based on a four-day work week Monday-Thursday.
The average job pays $600-700$ per job taking 3-4 hours to complete with two people. However, the same job can be completed in 5-6 hours if you do not mind working alone. Your helper, if you choose to have one, is saving you time on the job by unrolling the equipment, mixing chemicals, & cleaning filters without you having to stop your cleaning process. A good helper will save you 1.5-2 hours on the job.
Are you having doubts yet?
Sure, you are! No one that has a family depending on them likes the idea of quitting a stable job. Good benefits are not easy to come by!
By taking the Kitchen One Solutions Course, you will learn how to start and build your business without risking your present job.
How is this accomplished?
After you have taken our course on your off time, you will be able to stop by a few of your local restaurants and ask to speak to the manager or owner. Introduce yourself with your company name and simply ask them if they are happy with the quality of the work of their current kitchen hood system cleaning services.
They will tell you yes or no. If say yes they are happy but you can look and give them a price!!! THEY ARE NOT HAPPY!!!
If they are truly happy with the services they are receiving they will tell you they are happy and to have a nice a day!
Do not let this discourage you! Exhaust cleaning companies, until they prove themselves, are only as good as their last job. Be polite, give them a card, and thanks them for their time.
Tip: Never go on a Monday or a Friday...YOU WILL LEARN during our course why not!
In the first paragraph, I stated professional exhaust cleaners are in demand! This is not a get rich quick scheme or deal it takes time! As you are reaching out to restaurants you must prove yourself!
Enough babble, proceed to my YOUTUBE videos on choosing the right course to take.
This is where we talk about sacrifices. As mentioned earlier, each job pays $600-$700. Now, lets go down the middle based on a four-day work week.
After completing four jobs your gross income so far will be $2,600. Since you are doing these jobs on your day off from your regular job and only one day per week, in just four weeks you will achieve this goal.
If you can sell four new jobs per month in six months, you will have 24 accounts. By this time, if you maintain high quality work you will have proven your company as professional and dependable. However, you are doing this work on your off time.
At 24 accounts your gross income will be $15,600 every six months or $31,200 per year. Over the next six months your accounts will grow.
Remember Word of mouth is a powerful thing!
Your customers will talk to others in the restaurant associations mentioned in my videos.
Let us look! Thirty-six accounts -- this is $23,400 or $46,800 per year. At this point, you will have a good idea of your earning potential. Be realistic when choosing the exhaust cleaning course you attend. Only you will know how much income you will need to replace your existing job & its benefits.
Over the next six months, your accounts will continue to grow even larger. By this time your annual income should be around $135,200 per year or $169,000 if you commit to working a five day work week.
Now, if you came back you want to know more. It is essential for you to make four to five contacts every week, even if it’s only to stop by and introduce yourself.
Within 90-120 days you will receive a call from someone ready to give you a chance. Be at the restaurant 15 minutes prior to close and wait patiently for them to finish in the closing routines, so you can start what you have learned, now is your time to shine! When you leave the restaurant, the exhaust system should be cleaned from top to bottom. Polish the hood. Make sure everything you have moved out of your way has been put back in its exact location. Be sure to take before and after pictures. Mop the floor on your way out the door.
In the future if you would like to add to your services we feel that learning the fire protection part of this industry would be the way to go. Kitchen One Solutions Also Offers a Fire System and Installation Training Course! The automatic fire systems and portable extinguishers side of this business is very lucrative, as well! We offer hands on and classroom training on the following kitchen fire systems located within our training facility: Ansul, Amerex, Protecx, Pyro-Chem, Range Gard, Buckeye, Kidde and Aqua Blue.
Moving on... keep in mind its not the restaurant managers who are thinking that, "I must have my kitchen hood system cleaned ever six months and I am going to go broke paying for this service." For them, the is just another necessary cost of doing business. Just as you must carry a general liability insurance policy on your business... we offer guidance for you to obtain insurance, how you submit what you are doing to an insurance carrier, will be the difference of paying $550 and $3,000.
These kitchen hood and duct system are designed to be flushed out with hot water. And you must provide this information to the insurance company or all they will hear is that you are going to use a pressure washer in the inside of the building...which is obviously incorrect and as we will teach in our course. This is just one of many things you will learn by taking our course. Every part of the life safety codes is enforced by the fire department, building codes, insurance companies, and even the health department will get involved when it comes to public safety!
